There are 2 buyers of graduation lei hulu. The first buyer is looking for the traditional lei kamoe or lei poepoe, this lei will not be given out on graduation night. It will be given later at the party or at home and placed into a box, bin, safety deposit box or shadow box for safe keeping. These beautiful lei start at $300.

The 2nd type of buyer wants a feather lei but will not pay more than $50, these lei can be given at graduation night, it may or may not make it home. They may be given at the graduation party and are nice but not the family heirlooms.

This particular batch of lei are green/black and white a charter school on Maui. Can be customized to any school color, Maui High Blue and White, Kamehameha School Teal and Black, etc

Total length of lei is 26-30 inches with 16-18 inches of feathers in the center of the lei. The back of the lei is continued in satin and can take the rigors of having many lei piled on top of the graduate.


The lei take 2- 3 hours to create from beginning to  end - all the feathers are cut to exactly the same size then tied individually to the central base. It is recommended to ensure we have your color on hand, place lei order well in advance.
